Let's start over......
This pic brings back horrible flashbacks of the mid 90's Pontianc Grand Prix's that you had to pull the passenger side supsension to change the alternator. And I see they still can't mount the oil filter properly.........

There's other makes and models out there that were engineering brain farts also....
I know, I curse the engineer that thought it would a good idea to mount the lift pump/fuel filter on the frame rail behind the front drive shaft of the four wheel drive Super Duties every time I have to change the filters.

You almost/should get a NASCAR style floor jack.....they only need approx 1.5" space to get under initially......

Thats sucks Pat, one true downside of lowered trucks/cars. I blew the clutch linkage off my 78 T/A with no jack and it was pouring rain out... That was a horrible day
Those are the cat's meow for working on lowered vehicles like race cars. Except we kept killing the cheap ones because the car was so heavy and the owner of the car could not figure out that it was cheaper to buy a good jack once instead of letting us break the cheap ones 3-4 times before he bought a good one.
