Yeah it's a single pop on flat terrain turns that gets multiplied into successive pops when turning into a sloping driveway.

It's got me... :o

I do research and read and watch vids, and it sounds like this, then it sounds like that. Now it sounds like I'm nuts! :o

I wonder if it's the strut bearings... I know those can go out. if I do those I'm going to replace the front Eibachs with something e lseat the same time.

What would pop like that ? A tie rod ? Or yea, sway bar links, they can get stuck and bent when broken.. It's a 2wd, - doesn't it have cams for alignment ? Maybe a loose cam (the rear). (?) I guess it could be a bearing, if the cage is screwed up.

I guess you can't get it to pop stationary. Iduno, I'd have everything apart by now lol.

Things I've already replaced up front are:
lower ball joints
upper ball joints
outer tie rod ends
inner tie rods
sway bar end links
hub/rotor
I've also checked every nut and bolt that can be checked.

Everything that I've replaced has needed replacing.

They're tight and look good still.

Yea, if your using a lubricant on those, use silicone based. But, you really shouldn't need it, since lubing is mainly for squeaky bushings, resulting from dusty conditions.

The urethane bushing kits that I have seen all recomend being greased and on the critical bushings they come with grease fittings.

I've never seen Urethane's or Moogs with zerk fittings. That wouldn't be a bad idea tho, - I just haven't seen those.
