It just seems to me as if you're a wee bit 'into' the policing of that particular forum. Opinions are fine but moderators need to remember that their position alone tends to be that of a wedge in certain scenarios. I learned that the hard way.

Just trying to help.
Look for a PM. I'm not a fast typist, so it may be slow in coming!

Somebody is using sense, reason, facts and a calm demeanor and it's hard for us to combat such reasonable dialog. Stop him, he's playing fair and we can't stand it!!!!!

But, just a question for everyone, can't we mods have opinions too? Please notice I've never "threatened" anyone for disagreeing with me. I really try to separate my opinions in the P&R forum from my more "official" duties as a mod. In fact, as I said (or implied) in one of my posts, anyone who wants to can call me "stupid", an "idiot", a "moron" or any other epithet you would like to use, (as long as it passes the forum censor - no "bad" words) and I simply don't care. I'm happy to engage in conversation about most any subject, and I don't care what you personally think of me. I'm too old to take offense over things like that.

Anyway, I'm going to go with the advice of the other mods in this.

Thanks again for the input! It's been something I've been worrying over myself.

Thanks, 88 - I'm not opposed to any of what you suggest.

Jim didn't ask for it, though it was appreciated. It was suggested that it would be easier for members to remember the name and to enter it for PMs, emails and such. I think it's the same with Pat as I hated trying to remember the order of his longer ID when I needed to PM him.

I asked my little girl how her first day of school was last night

She responded it wasn't good

Oh? I said and I added what happened?

She responded with a big smile I didn't have a good day because I had a super good day at school....

Little turd....
