The transverse mounted 5.3's have a cold start lifter tick that doesn't go away until the oil pressurizes....gm knows of the problem and warranty doesn't cover it...

The last of my brake stuff came in today

I didn't realize they sold fronts as a set... thought they did it like rotors, so I have to return one box of them. It was "1 set, 4 pieces" so the inner and outer pads I'm assuming. Any lubricants or such I should pick up? Shanin's thread had a few things listed, but I'm not sure since I'm a 2wd

It all depends on the version/type of browser(not having plug ins or ad blockers) and if your using f150's mobile or traditional platform.....

Alight, thanks Michael. What about extra brake fluid for when you open the bleed valves?

When the calipers are compressed you'll get some back in the resivor....have some new for just in case.....you should need to open bleed valves unless you're changing a caliper or changing all the fluid....

The doofus that made my cheese sandwich this morning didn't put enough mayo on it. He must have been half asleep.

Ok thanks 88, quick thing though. So the box had 4 pads in it, I'm reading Shanin's writeup and her's is showing one pad per rotor... do the 2wd's have an inner and outer pad?
