It was chilly here in N. Fla as well. Actually had to crack the heater on the way to class. I'm looking forward to the cold and then again I'm not.

A little added weight will cut your mpg. Wife and Maggie came to Brownboro with me this morning. With all their stuff, maybe 500 lbs and lost about 1 mpg.

If I did that I had better hide the ammo and sleep with one eye open because my wife is a registered nurse.......and could probably make it look like I died in my sleep.

I do not see the word dead in my post. You don't go editing it either!

She weighs only about 100 and Maggie weighs about 17, so that much was live. Made no difference it was weight. I did not think about 500 lbs in the cab would make that much difference, but it did.

Went to bed last night a little before 12:00. Got up this morning about 4:30, finished loading the truck, drove to Brownsboro and then back to Athens. I'm tired. Got to go to Tyler after work, tonight, so guess I will get more tired. I need a nap!

Stopped by the local spring place again after work and apparently the prices I saw were "special internet prices" because they tried selling the springs to me again for $280 a piece. So I asked them about the $180 springs and they said "Oh.......you seen that on the internet didn't ya."

So I got heavy duty leaf springs, shackles, u-bolts and all 6 shackle bolts for $19 more than it was going to be for just the leaf springs from Varsity Ford. Off work next weekend and now that everything is sitting in my shed I guess I gotta do it now.....

It went from Summer straight to Winter. Never got above 57 or so today. Time to get the coat out.
