That's good. I've seen what dogs can do, glad it was only his leg that he got.

Oh I know, what happened was probably the best outcome. My wife was scared that the dog was gonna turn and go for my daughter. She kept telling her to run but she was in so much shock and scared she froze. I feel so terrible I wasnt there when it happened...

Thanks Dave! Its crazy how he has been. I think me and my wife are more traumatize from the event (more my wife) I couldnt imagine what she went through holding on to dear life to my boy.
When we got home that night I wondered if he would be afraid of our dog because they are such good friends. The next morning when he woke up, he went straight over to our dog cuddled up and drank his milk

Great game last night between the Packers and Saints. I don't root for either team (Bucs fan) but I enjoyed watching that game. That 108 yard return for a TD was awesome. The national anthem was great too with what they did in the stadium.

You shouldn't let him drink the dog's milk!

Sorry, just had to. I'm glad he is doing so well and not afraid of dogs. My daughter was bitten on the face by a neighbor dog when she was about five. She never let it check her love of dogs. In this case, she understood that it was as much her fault as the dog's.

Thanks Jim! Thats such a terrible thing to get bit in the face, especially for a girl. I dont know what made the dog attack my son. My wife was carrying him in her arms and it didnt happen right away. She had the dog outside on a leash for about 5 min then it just attacked him.
Because this was an attack, the dog is quarantined for 10 days the check for illness then it will be put down

Possibly the dog had been taunted or hurt by kids. Usually, such behavior is due to something that has happened to it.

Years ago, we had a German Sheperd/Border Collie mix that was a great dog. He was good with everyone, especially kids. The little boy next door would chunk rocks and dirt clods over the fence at the dog during the day. We talked to him about it, but he did not stop. One day, he came in our back yard with his mom, and the dog attacked him. Bit him on the scalp and had to be pulled off. When the little boy stopped crying, the first thing he asked was did Huggy Bear do that because I threw rocks at him? Never was anymore rocks sailing over the fence. He had finally gotten the message.
