Shouldn't be nothing more than an element that needs to be replaced. Well at least that was the case back in the days. Now they have freaking circuit boards.

Thanks guys, - yea, clothes dryer. A Whirlpoo Gaser. Yea, not that old, no element that I know of.

So everything seemed to work, the igniter wouldn't kick in and flame up. Tested w/multi-meter, the igniter is fine.

Tested the gas valve coils. Gas valve coils are fine.

Tested the Flame sensor, -it's fine.

High Limit Thermostat is fine.

Operating Thermostat is fine.

Timers Good.

Tested the Thermo Fuse, - BINGO! Fuse reads Infinity, -should read "0" Ohms.

Called Joe Appliance and they want $10 for a fuse and said that I had to change the operating thermostat as well, - said that's another $20.

I said I check the thermostat it's fine. He ask me how I did that ? I said you don't know ? Silence.... - I said no sale, click.

Sooo, lol. Went out in the garage and found a fusible link w/proper amperage fuse. Wired it up as a plug in.

She works fine.

Why did it blow in the first place ? Yea, there was a lot of lint in the pipe. Wasn't plugged, but must have been enough to heat things up a bit.

Alright, I gotta get out of these wet clothes

Did 2 loads, it drys real quick now. Yea the exhaust must have been to restricted. You know, I thought I didn't have to worry about that if I cleaned the lint filter each load. (?)

Huh, Oh well. Hey maybe the dog wants to go for a spin.
