I wish y'all hadn't started talking about fixing vehicles. Turns out the reason I've slung 2 power steering belts is I need the pulley on the p/s pump fixed. Didn't notice it was loose when I put the belt back on the first time.

Can't complain though. I bought the car with 197k on it in 2006. It just rolled 224k last week and all I've done to it is put a new set of tires on it when I bought it and a battery last year.

I have the Ford place change the oil. The guys working in the shop need some money. I pay them to do the stuff I don't want to.

I'm pretty sure I would have noticed the pulley being as loose as it is. It's a tight fit to loosen up all the bolts to put the belt back on. Maybe it was just starting to loosen up.

Oh well, off the shop she goes.
