Yeah I see deer around all the time, but it's scary when one runs at your truck like that You made out well 88, that's lucky you lived through that.

Yea my old neighbor, retired from the railroad, then moved up there. Older fella named Fred, would talk your ear off. Cool guy though, wouldn't be surprised if you new him lol.. Sent me quite a few pics of his place and surrounding area. Very nice.

If you have clamps....they can loosen up and cause some irritating noises.....on my 03 I had band clamps.....they loosened up and made an awful racket on take offs and reverse....not a peep out of them while cruising though.......took them off and welded the exhaust joints.....

The last really bad deer wreck I remember was quite a few years ago, I came over a hill and all I saw were red and white flashing lights and they had most of the higway closed off. A Canadian Super B train hit a deer and it went under the truck and took out all of the air lines and locked the brakes up and the drive lost control of a 100,000lbs+ truck and it looked like the tractor and trailers rolled 3 or 4 times before it came to rest in the opposite ditch. The cab of the tractor was destroyed and it was a Kenworth W900 and the only way I could tell were the breathers what was left of the hood and grill sitting in the middle of the west bound lane of US 2. I have only seen a couple wrecks like that and they always stick with you.
