I know it! They (co-counsel) were supposed to be here around 3 or 4 today so that we could get whatever done that needs to be done. Of course, as is the usual case, they call this morning and say they can't be here until 6 or 7 and that they have lots of printing and copying to be done and will need administrative help. My big question - if you didn't leave until late - why couldn't your own staff get your stuff ready to send with you? Lawyers....

Printing & copying? Seriously, get that done at your own office. Of course, my boss does random/crazy things too. I just sent a long winded letter to attorney friends of his re: some Internet service that neither he nor those attorneys have access to. He just wanted to inform them that it exists I guess .
We're always pushing some deadlines, but somehow have time to send pointless things to people that cannot benefit from it .
What type of big hearing is happenin tomorrow? You said your boss does intellectual property law, yeah?

Yes. When I found out I was working tonight, I called Stacey (Branden's g/f) and asked her if she would "babysit". She took her home for the night and will bring her back tomorrow sometime. She cleans for me, so she has a key. Makes it simple.
