I don't either, exactly, as I've never seen Desparate Houswives. Somehow, I think I have a pretty good idea though!

Of course, as is the usual case, they call this morning and say they can't be here until 6 or 7 and that they have lots of printing and copying to be done and will need administrative help. My big question - if you didn't leave until late - why couldn't your own staff get your stuff ready to send with you? Lawyers....

What type of big hearing is happenin tomorrow? You said your boss does intellectual property law, yeah?
Yep, that's right. It's a Markman (or claim construction) hearing in a technology patent case. It's kind of like a mini-trial of each sides claims to the judge, then the judge makes a ruling on how the claims will be "constructed" for trial. BTW... It's 7:00 and I'm still sitting here at the office waiting for them to show up. (not happy)

Yes. When I found out I was working tonight, I called Stacey (Branden's g/f) and asked her if she would "babysit". She took her home for the night and will bring her back tomorrow sometime. She cleans for me, so she has a key. Makes it simple.

It wouldn't so bad except they have not even finished their presentation. I'm sitting here waiting for something to do. I have done one copy job in the last hour. I'm so overworked!
