Now this is what you need. I nearly bought the wagon version about 10 years ago but the seller wouldn't budge on the price.

There's something odd about that truck. The 1999 vs 1999.5 7.3 PSD are interesting. I've been doing reading on them lately. Now the Fender badges usually denote an early 7.3 or 1999. The Door badges are started after. Now from everything I read, there are hybrid trucks which got the updated brake rotors, upgraded suspension, tranny cooler filter etc but had the "old" 1999 version 7.3. I wonder if that truck was in an accident. The fender badges would lead me to believe it is an early 7.3, but there is only one on the drivers side and it's missing one on the passenger side. Those early 7.3 are loud those with the wicked wheel

It would be best to check the build date and run the Vin through oasis......oh wait its too old to run through oasis.....
There are ways to ID it... some of the trucks say 250hp vs 235. The 250 was International's rating vs the 235 from Ford. The intakes are different and the glow plugs had one relay on the early 1999. I love the sound of the 7.3 Would you really get rid of your truck Will or just get a cheap PSD like that?

And of course any of the psd's will need head studs if you're planning on beefing up the power.....
It's hard to tell, there are so many variations... Some say that PMR for while then there was a shortage so Forged for a bit the PMR again. Then another site you hear more variations. Forged are the preferred material for the rods, right? Does that allow more power over PMR and resists damage better?
