No it's asphalt. By the time I had driven close to them, they had slithered over into the grassy part on the side. I wouldn't have shot at the asphalt.

That makes 3 cotton mouths and 2 copperheads this year. I hate snakes!!

Rattlers will normally try to get away from you if they can. Cottonmouths will actually came at you. When I was a kid, I was in a boat with my uncle, fishing and one tried to get in the boat. My uncle fought him off with a fishing rod.

Back in the 1960s when they openned Lake O' the Pines, a kid was water skiing. He started yelling that he was in barbed wire, but he had hit a nest of Cottonmouths. They were all over him.

They are VERY aggressive - that's why I just keep shooting at them. They keep lunging after you even when you shoot their heads off!

At least one we know! I asked her why she used so many bullets when two for each snake was sufficient. She said pieces of it were still twitching. Probably a good thing that it only held 12 shells.

My F150 Online decals from Dixie Design came in the mail this morning. They look really good!

I ordered two just because. I still haven't gotten them, probably next week.
