Let's start over......
As old is that carb is Dave and looking at your pic, I'm pretty sure that's ban old Onan. They had that idle/fuel screw right on top like that. I had one on a backup generator for the Freight Liner.
It might not be, it's the only straight up and down set screw type that I've seen in the past.
Anyway, -were you able to find an EXACT kit for that particular model. That would be tough.
Which carb did you order ?

Mornin
Yea..Unfortunately that is about where my references stop. Eh, maybe a few briggs and tecumseh's. I was the neighborhood kid everyone took their bikes and go karts to, to get fixed and tuned up. Somehow it's followed me my whole life, still fixing everyone's things. Haven't been around tractors much, nothing vintage anyway .

Had a nice rain during the night and the leaves are really falling, out in the woods. The truck was covered in sweet gum and oak leaves, the bed was full. The roads getting out of the woods are only 1 1/2 lanes wide, so if you meet a vehicle, both have to go slow and pull over in the ditch. With all the leaves and pin needles on the black top, it was hard to see how far to pull over without getting in too much wet sand. Just part of life in the East Texas Piney Woods.
