Wife and I just got back from Honduras and this is the airport we landed at. The driver's in Tegucigalpa are scarier then the landing!

Only a Cajun would go to Honduroas for a vacation!

That is one scary landing!

My wife went to high school in New Orleans back in the 60's and they had girl's from Honduras that boarded there. I would pick up my future wife and her friend Aminta in my '66 GTO after they got off school and would ride them around the city. My wife's been down there 3 times over the year's to visit but it was my first time. Even got to visit the town of Tela where my aunt and uncle lived year's ago when he worked for United Fruit co. out of New Orleans and Honduras shipping Chiquita bananna's. I had to visit this country after hearing about it for so many year's and glad I did. Saw some sight's you'll never see in the U.S.

Beach at Tela, Honduras on the Caribbean Sea. They use to load the bananna ship's not far from here.
