We always had large dogs. Chow, Doberman, a couple of mutts, and the last one was a German Shepherd. I decided I wanted a small dog for a change, so it could be more a part of my activities. I did not know what I was asking for! She knows what I am going to do before I do it. At night, when I start to sit down in my recliner, I better be quick about it as she is in the air before my butt hits the chair. She has really added a lot of fun and laughter to our lives. Hard to believe she was 9 years old in October.

My biggest male was 140 lbs and my biggest female was 100.....I had six of them at once and each had their own personality....

I have a Lab/Rott mix now. I've been fortunate with dogs, they all have listened well. But man, playing with this one out in the yard, she rips the hell out of the lawn. Rooster tails when she gets revved up. Then after she does her business, same thing, she stands in one spot and throws more rooster tails. I try to break of that and yell HEY, when I catch her in the act, but I get that calm "what look". Doesn't do much good lol.
