Going to replace the brake shoes on the festiva today. I'm pretty sure one exploded the other day. :o

it was a slick commute this morning.....got about 6"-7" of snow between yesterday and last night...

No, I just went and bought a 9/16 die and re-threaded the spindle. When I had the drivers side apart I saw the outer shoe was cracked. I should have just gotten new shoes then but since it still stopped and I don't really want to put a lot of money into this car I let it go. :o So now I'll prolly have to spend more money and get new drums too

I know. I was surprised a high performance car like a Festiva had drums instead of discs.

Dealership coffee! LOL. In the showroom, they have a silver Raptor, a silver Shelby and a red Shelby. Only 550 HP.
