Let's start over......
Did some research on the gun and all I come up with is it is either a .32 or .38. I found the brand name on it. Here's what I know about it.

Got it all taken apart and cleaned up. The picture with the gun on wooden surface looks just like the gun I have but blued.

You'er welcome Randall.
I would take it in and have it appraised before you do that, it may be worth more the way it is before you try to restore it and make it look new. I have 3 guns that are old family heirlooms and I'm going to leave all of them alone and the only thing I'm going to do to them is take them apart and give them a very thorough cleaning and lube. The oldest one is my grampa's Remington Model 8 that according to the serial number it's 108 years old.

Has it actually been sanded or has the bluing just worn off? I know on some of the older firearms the bluing was not the greatest and pretty easily warn off especially if someone used newer detergent motor oil as lube on it. It may not hurt just to check.
It's been sanded on. You can see the marks in it.
