I would say it was more creative advertising on Fords part than anything else. Sorry I missed the not towing part in your first post and your completely right he would have been better off with the 5.0 instead of the EB but people see it's a V-6 and automatically think it's going to get better mileage compared to the larger displacement V-8's.

Sure, they think it's a V6 and has to be great mpg, but in every ad, Ford touts it as the best out there. It's only the best if driven like almost no one drives. That is my problem with the engine and with Ford's ads. just seems a bit deceptive, like you have to read the small print. I know my boss bought it expecting to get fantastic mpg and thought he was going to get better than I do. I have spent two or three sessions explaining to him why it can't. We have seen several members post their disappointment with the mpg. To me, it's shame on Ford for not being upfront with the info.

Its nice here too. But its around 43 degrees. Tommorow will be high 60's.

Sunny and 38 here... We got spoiled with summer like weather last week so now it feels frigging cold out. Good weather for work but thats about it

Hi all. Fly by. Added a can of 134a to the old ac system and she's cold now. Nice. More than I can say for the wife's car, the ac compressor fan clutch retainer bolt sheared off. Hope I can just buy the bolt. If not this car just got more costly...
