Taking the boy out on the boat tomorrow. Hoping he catches his first large mouth bass. I've set him up with some good rods and reels and bait setups so he should be good to go. Heck he has better reels than I do! lol

Also finally got my cats done. Still have a tick, maybe it's a lifter that is now heard better with the headers. I think with the stock manifold they muffled the sound a bit more. Maybe I still have an exhaust leak. Runs like a scalded ape though. Still gets good mileage for a truck with 109,000 miles too.

My truck has an exhaust leak also, I got it tracked down I just need to do something about it. Lately I just don't care. The other day I drove it to the gas station to fill up a 5 gallon can and as I was pulling out of the gas station I had the radio off and it was making a very strange sound, almost sounded like it was something with the timing chain/phasers. I've been thinking about getting rid of it and getting a 78/79 F150. Craigslist isn't helping much either. It is a nice truck but it's just not "doing it" for me anymore. It has a little over 131,000 miles on it now and has been getting between 15-17 mpg.

Yea , get rid of it. Find a nice 59 or Model A.

When I posted that one of my concerns that made me chose the 5.0 over the EB was the direct injection along with the turbos and the problems other manufacturers had with it, I was poo pooed. Well, sounds as if they are now having trouble with it.

Morning. First night back in my house and my own bed felt pretty good except for this little white pest that wouldn't leave me alone or quit meowing outside the door last night.
