Let's start over......
The thread on the other site said you had to pry out the 4 tabs on the rear of the box and that it was even harder getting them back in. I tried to do that and saw I was going to tear something up. Turns out they are hinges. Don't know how he achieved that. Bet he ruined the "tabs". It was pretty easy to remove once I took off the clamp and separated the tube. Just kind of an extra step from the the earlier models.

That's a nice trip. I will be interested to know what your mileage was.

Running the speed limit mostly 70 and 65mph limit's I got up to 18mpg. Mostly in the hill's and mountain's it dropped to 17.5-17.7 range. Trip put me through Louisiana,Mississippi,Alabama,Georgia,Tennessee,Vi rginia,Maryland and small part's of West Virginia and North Carolina. Wife got tired of riding before I got tired of driving!
My job for tomorrow is cleaning the truck and mowing the lawn. Got back just in time for the love bug season!
