I had to buy something. Even considered a Silverado or a Ram, just could not bring myself to do that. Had I kept the 05, I would be at 160,000and it would need too many things.

Fluid flushes, spark plugs, battery, altenator, belt, brakes, and that is assuming nothing major went wrong. I just do not have the time to get all that stuff done. Plus, peace of mind is good too, when your running down a rural highway at midnight.

There are some nice things about the new ones, for sure, the extra interior room, sync, quietness, engine responsivness, gas mileage, but I still love the looks of the 04-08s. Especially with some nice wheels, etc.

I love my truck, rode in my brothers 2012, that 5.0 is impressive.

If I could keep the outside but new powertrain and interior I'd love one. I always want to keep mine though and have it as a toy. I hope nothing happens to it.

On the land rover side, sometimes they get sensitive to big changes in lighting, like coming out of a dark parking garage, out into the bright sunlight, which is weird because they are ultrasonic, lighting shouldnt effect sound
