I'm shooting a .177 break barrel Gamo that's shooting 1100fps. I'm using H&N 8.49 grain pointed tip pellets.

Most of the over penetration happens inside 10 yards or less. The only reason I know this is because I shot two pigeons in the warehouse at work with the shot being no more than 25 feet with center mass hits on both birds and I heard the pellet hit the metal siding both times.

That .20 cal is one bad ****, I would like to add one to my collection at some point but I have to many toys ahead of it on the list.

I bet I'd be near 270-280 at the wheels, right? Been also wondering about a valve body. Any thoughts on Darrin's?

I had Darrin's and it was a good mod....you might want to double check his website to make sure he's still there....he was looking to get out of the tranny business....

you could also use the troyer valve body....Darrin use to build those also to troyer's specs....
