so dad and i had been building a pickup, and we were almost to the point of hauling it to the scrap pile because we couldnt get the thing to prime the fuel system, fire, turn over ect. finally one day after putting the front clip on we had kicked ourselfs in the nuts and found a ground that was unhooked and was an important one... man, open headers never sounded so good at that moment! now its just annoying and shakes the cab (and your brain) but i was just glad we got her to go! now its little odds and ends stuff at the moment before we take the insurance off my truck and put it on this one. its a win loose situation here. oh well! BRING ON MORE PROJECTS!

Mowed at the farm till dark, then Maggie and I took a little ride in the Mule. I guess that thing is water cooled and has elecrtic fans? It had a smell when I got back and sounded as if something was running after I shut it off. Didn't go very far but it may have gotten hot. I need to learn about it's design and do some checking. Oh, it has 1281 hours on it.

if its calling for the fans to be on they won't shut off until the motor/cooling system is cool enough and they'll continue to run with the key off....
Does that sound like pretty low hours on what I'm guessing is about a 2000?
Yeah, that was why I thought it must be electric fans, I was hoping that was what it was. It was in the dark and I was in a hurry. Did not have time to stay and see what was going on. I was hoping it was not steam from the radiator. But I was not even sure it was water cooled. A little research this morning and it appears to be. If I get it, I will need a manual. I'm thinking of offering $1,000.

The shifter just has Forward neutral and Reverse. There is a speed **** with two settings, Hi and Lo. Is it in 4 wheel drive all the time? Beside the seat, there is a large lever, I'm assuming that is for the dump bed. I need to get it in the daylight and check all this out. I don't even know for sure that it is gas. With the noise it makes, could be diesel.
