It was a bit of a PITA to do but it was a fun project none the less now the only thing to do is pull it back out redrill the hole so the pin that holds it in place fits and finish the exposed raw edges. I'm not a fan of wood grips though....I like hogue rubber grips better...

awe....that's nice!

The tail needs some modding and trimming.....two brothers racing muffler too...imo

Thank's, I may change them out for something different at a later date but I just couldn't take the cheap plastic grips that came on the gun anymore. I'm really surprised I kept plastic grips on the gun for 3 years.

ya those stock grips always look and feel cheesy once a person gets used to the good ones....the wood grips definitely brings some character+class to your gun....

Yea thats the first thing to mod, is get a hot bodies fender eliminator and then exhaust. It will either be 2 brothers or FMF.

About 6 months ago the shop switched over to these guys as their electrical components supplier.....link>>> http://www.motorcityreman.com/

we've been having some really impressive and quality replacement altenators and starters come from them....my boss has even started to keep 1 to 2 on hand for the more problematic common issues....

Thank's Craig, they do add a substantial amount of thickness to the grip but it fits my hands better and I can get a much better grip on the gun than before. I was practicing my draw last night after I got it put back together and my grip felt more natural with me getting the sites on target faster.

Thank's, I struggled to get a good grip on the gun with the slim plastic grips that were on the gun before and now the grip feels really natural with gun in my hand. I'm kind of kicking my self for not doing this sooner.
