So I dropped the Mustang off at the dealer this morning to get the driver seat replaced (delivered with a rip in the front of the lower cushion) and as I'm leaving the dealership waiting at the light to turn onto the freeway, I hear commotion off to my right, guys voices (windows down).

I look over to see a dude about my age hanging out of a 99-03 F150. He says "wanna run" so I asked if he was retarded. told him no thanks, no fun for me. Keep in mind he is 2 lanes over from me, waiting to go straight.

Anyways, he tells me that I don't know what he has under the hood, and the work he has done to it, yada yada. Told him of he did so much work to it, why is his friend driving the truck? Busted.

Told him I had his exact truck, OHV 4.2L of 200 HP awesomeness. He just stared at me like I spoke jibberish.

I drove off laughing as he kept trying to big talk me.

Hopefully those exposed steel belts blow out on your insane truck buddy!

call them and ask them if they'd take 36 on it, its not that far off from what they have listed it for. Like i said, its right across the street, so anything you want me to look at or take pics of i can.

well got offered a 79 f-250 as a trade for mine... here's the kicker... 7.3 IDI conversion. Comes with hypermax turbo, but needs a pump. dad shot it down for me, but idk... finish the body work, clean up the wiring situation...

That would definitely be something fun to have. Best of both worlds. A tough and mean looking body and an "indestructible" engine.

Me neither...luckily I don't really mess with any school zones on my way to work. Most start later and I travel mainly highway.
