You were exactly right. It hit here right about 2:00 p.m. and we lost power at 2:30. Still no power. Thank goodness for generators! There is lots of wind damage around here. I went to check on my parents early this afternoon. It's about a 30 mile drive. Had to stop 4 different times while trees were being cut and moved off the roads. I haven't heard any news on how long before we get our power back. I'm just so thankful there are no trees on the house or carport.

Well I survived another weekend. Played paintball on Saturday and then went to camp with my friends and step son drank a few beers had some beer brats. And Sunday my friend got his 4x4 backhoe stuck a few times and then broke a hydraulic line which ended our day of work. I also maged to get my truck stuck in the mud on the way out from where we were working with the equipment. But seeing my step sons SEG when he was riding in the backhoe was worth it.

I can imagine. I was watching Ike pretty closely all last week wondering what kind of casualties and damage it would cause. There are a few guys from Upper Michigan on there way down with logging trucks for clean up as I type.
