So far this summer I've gotten 17 pints of zucchini relish (not all for me, my boss had me make some for her too), 14 quarts of dill pickles, countless zucchini dishes, fresh green beans, onions, radishes, lettuce and kohlrabi from my garden and my corn is really trying! If it holds off frosting for another couple of weeks we may get some little ears! Check this out...

Just thought you'd like to know

Thanks sweetie, I hope they are. We can't try them yet, it takes about 6 weeks for them to taste like dill pickles instead of cucumbers with a lot of vinegar! The zucchini relish, on the other hand, is terrific!

Sounds like good stuff.

We've got some of your cooler weather down here, lows in the 50's about all week.

Our low's are actually a little cooler than that. Upper 30's to low 40's. Our highs are a little unseasonal for us, supposed to be 92° on Wednesday!!

Rosie, send some pickled green beans out this way. Me and my roommate demolished the jar that we got.

Morning. Still no electricity in Chalk Hill, TX. I never thought I would be so happy to be at work.

I ate too much pizza during the game last night. Just now beginning to get hungry. Pizza, salad, and a Cowboy win over the Eagles. Doesn't get too much better than that!
