It's an event held every other year. The top 12 players from Europe play the top 12 twelve from the US. They alternate playing in Europe and US. They play against each other using several formats over 3 days.

There is only construction north of austin on 35. nothing here in town that i know of... I think you just didnt want to come see me

Okay so get this, we had a guy this morning driving infront of the dealership in a F350that hit a big bump, and lost his trailer (no saftey chains) and it slid about 100 yards and hit one of our (Hertz) rental cars parked out on the street. 2007/08 focus pushed the car about 10 yards, and up a curb. Pretty much totalled the car. The tags on the trailer expired 05 of 07. And the driver fled from the scene. He drove by another 2 or 3 times to look at the damage. Then the cops finally showed up, and he decided he should stop as the officer was getting out of the car. And the driver didnt have insurance on the truck, or trailer. And was using it for a buisness. Had a bunch of scrap wood on it. Estimated weight of about 5k slammed into the back of the focus....

Nice. People never cease to amaze me.

Last night I encountered a fully loaded dump truck as I was exiting I35W to go home. It was around 12:45AM, pitch black out, and he was going the wrong way on the access road I was exiting onto. I stopped on the off ramp with hopes he wasn't going to hit me head on. People sure are stupid.

I know! I knew something was wrong, that's why I stopped before I got off the ramp. Was thinking of offroading it back to the freeway.

Yes. The truck was making a wide turn from the outside lane, he didn't realize it, was passing on the inside. clipped the bumper, lost control. His brother was with him, but not hurt.

he went to school with the kid that lives across the road.

My sister is taking my Dad out to Pebble Beach next month to play golf. He's retired and loves playing golf so this is going to be just so wonderful for him. I am very fortunate that my sister has the means to do things like this for our parents. I guess it's like 600 bucks or so just for a round of golf. Crazy I tell ya', just crazy. They're also playing Spyglass while their out there.

yep, the green fee is insane. That would be an awesome experience, but I am not sure I could enjoy it, knowing what it cost. Spyglass is pretty awesome itself.
