My son in law and daughter have a 2004 Excursion, 6.0, with about 130,000 on it. So far, it's been a good one.

Low voltage and bad batteries took out my FICM and two injectors last time and cost me $2100 four years ago. The GEM module controls the charging on the Super Duty and I'm praying that isn't bad because I can handle an alternator and bad batteries. Plus I put almost $7,000 into this thing in October so I hoping for more than three month with out a problem.

Ruger LCP .380 if you want a good COMPACT gun, but between a 9 and 40 I'll take the 40.

I'll have to look up the Ruger LCP. I would like to stay with a 9 due to that I have a butt load of bullets for a 9. .40 might be too much for the wife. She likes the P89 I have now but it's a tad to big .

I had a S&W M&P 40 for a while but it was way to cumbersome to carry in the summer. The 380 is perfect, for me.

I have my 1911 if I want to squeeze off a few big rounds.

Go with either Glock, I have an LCP that I carry only as a BUG and very very rarely as a primary gun unless I can't conceal anything else and I need to be very discreet. Hell most of the time I'm carrying a full size gun on me and no one can tell.

Randall just for size comparison.

I like the LCP for what it is but the trigger pull is hideously long and there are absolutely no sights what so ever on it. It's what we like to call a bad breath distance gun.

Looking at the LC9 right now. This gun will be for the wife. Not me. I'm getting the 27 Glock foe me.

The LC9 is a good gun and the other one I would highly recommend is a Smith&Wesson M&P.
