Nice! That's a favorite in shops abroad. The only problem that some of those Makita's had, was with the anvil snap ring. It would compress and wouldn't hold sockets, impact sockets would fall off as well, = weak ring. So, the fix was easy, acquire a better ring and a pair MAC pliers. These, -

Makita may have fixed the problem with your 18V, not sure. Just in case, that's all you have to do.
THOSE Makita's are very nice. I wanted to try a Brushless Cordless and at the time DeWalt was beating up the competition. Only complaint I guess is that it will snap bolts easily, so I have to use a clutch attachment for repetitive fastening.

I have the smaller brother to that too, its a 1/8" quick release style. Looses a lot of torque through the smaller shaft. The 3/8" anvil is the way to go! Very strong for cordless impact.
All though my 1/8" is probably 5 years older and at one point it went swimming in 3" of used burnt trans fluid. But it still runs hard for what it is.

EDIT: I have a Porter cable that went swimming off the pool deck. Pulled the battery, removed the casing and blew it out. Worked fine after that and it never looked cleaner lol.
