Dad gave me a S&W .357 magnum today he didn't want anymore. S/N dates it to 1954.

SWEET!!!! I was giving a 1881 38 SW pistol after my Uncle past 2 years ago. It was made by Meridian which was bought out by Sears and Robuck. Then it went from there. It's a 5 shot revolver that breaks over to load. I need to get some pics of it. I think I have some on FB of it.

This one is pretty cool. Dad inherited the gun from their old neighbors who left everything to them. Old Mr Jones was in the USAF and fought in WWII. They had no kids or family. When they got old my parents took care of them and they left them everything, pretty nice.

The gun looks in good shape. Having neighbors like that with no kids or family are the best kind to have around. They treat you like family and would or will do anything for you.
