Let's start over......
Took the truck on its first road trip.. Was looking forward to seeing how the fuel mileage was going to be... Ended up stuck on I20 on Ranger hill for 4 1/2 hours (idling the whole time).. Finally got to fort worth at 3am.. Should only be a 4 hour trip max and took us 10 hours.. That tank ended up being 16.5
Left yesterday and battled a 25mph head wind the whole trip back.. That resulted in 16.7 mpg's. Maybe next time will be better

A couple pictures of one of this weekends projects part of this is right up Will's alley. I need to rebuild the front porch of my house because one post is sinking and has been since I bought the house in 2004 and part of the project is landscaping parts of the yard. I started Saturday morning with a skid steer pulling out a sidewalk to nowhere going up the east side of my house and then moved onto the overgrown bushes in front of the house. It was really nice being able to yank the bushes out in one piece with the forks and load them on the trailer so I could take them to the city's compost site.
Before
After
Needless to say I'm tired, sunburned, sore, and very glad to be back in my office today.
