I started Saturday morning with a skid steer pulling out a sidewalk to nowhere going up the east side of my house and then moved onto the overgrown bushes in front of the house. It was really nice being able to yank the bushes out in one piece with the forks and load them on the trailer so I could take them to the city's compost site.

Needless to say I'm tired, sunburned, sore, and very glad to be back in my office today.
Looks good....

Thank's, yeah those two little trees met there demise from the skid steer as well. I took the after pictures right after eating lunch before getting back into the skid steer to load the bushes on the trailer.

Should've gotten a GoPro and mounted on the skid steer....that would've been cool...

I thought about it.....but there was way to much swearing that went on.

The machine is old and getting close to being worn out the bolt on cutting edge was worn back even with the bucket edge not allowing me to be able to cut properly with the bucket. It was frustrating trying to skim off dirt because I had to be pretty aggressive to get the bucket to cut into the sod and dirt. The cutting edge is supposed to get replaced and I have more work to do at the house so I'll be sure to get a video camera for the next time.

Since we are not going to Brownsboro every week and I don't drive 52 miles round trip to work everyday, the fuel bill has been reduced by $300 per month. That is nice, plus all the wear on the truck.

yep....thanks to the engineers who listed the parts on a bar napkin then it was used to set the beer on....drove it back 200 miles last night and back up here 200 miles this morning due to the misreading of what parts were needed for the job....kinda hard to decipher ink smudges sometimes.....
