I gotta agree with 88. Better clean! Except not for 130 bucks! For as much as i wash my truck I'd go through that crap too fast.

It's alright DT. While the outside of my truck is almost always dirty I do vacum and wipe everything down on the inside frequently. I really am a neat freak and believe in keeping things clean and orderly but in my line of work its just not possible for the outside of my truck. People get in all the time and give me the "dude this things clean inside, what about the outside" look. I just shrug my shoulders and tell them they are more than welcome to wash it.

that $130+ was for a bunch of items that I use.....the majority of it was for a clear plastic restoration kit....the one kit I had prior I had used up all the compounds and pads.....

I also get paid for redoing headlights+taillights at a couple of used car dealerships....so its just money back in my own pocket

Ever tried using a regular polishing pad and polishes? I do it from time to time and it works really well at a fraction of the cost of a kit.

yep.....that does work on the not so neglected ones

the ones that kit does a remarkable job on are the 90's vehicles...along with some of the dodges and chevys in the early 2000....the ones where you can't even see inside of the housing

That's sweet. Understandable then.

And to bad they don't have a sonic's around here. That sounds awesome

Here are some domes for a light bar I own.

This is before.

Just polish.

50/50

50/50 Left side compounded and the right fully polished.

I also have clear domes that I wet sanded and polished that came out better than the red domes did because the clear domes aren't nearly as abused.
