I'll admit, I haven't been checking over the old girl lately as often as I should but was kind of embarrassed when I found out my rack is shot, the power steering cooler was leaking and the inner tie rod ends were loose.

The inner tie rod ends were loose so I told the tech. to replace them before the alignment. After he replaced them there was still about 1.5"-2" of movement coming from the rack...so not being able to replace the rack right now I had them hold off on the alignment. The funny part is, driving it you wouldn't know the rack was bad. It's solid and tight going down the road. Actually I didn't even notice the tie rod ends were loose either.

Before too long this 2004 will be like a 2014
glad yer getting it fixed....you and john should trade trucks....

yesterday afternoon I was doing internal pipe examinations at a couple of facilities....after you get done with one or two of them a person starts to look rather soaked and dirty....on the way home I had to stop at a sobriety check point....the officer asked if I had anything to drink....knowing how I looked, I asked him in return "what do you think?"....he looked me over and waved me on.....

That's cold! It's perfect here in the East Texas woods. 70 with a light breeze. Makes me want to mow! Well, almost.
