got the boy out of a GM but I can't get her out of one....
let me tell ya....she checks all three book prices on her 07 Tahoe every week....in June she saw the value drop $1500....since then she's been itching to trade it off.....heck that tahoe she had now only has 79K for miles....

Shocks will make or break the ride quality no matter which drop you do.
Before you buy a flip, think of it this way. Factory leafs are very soft and have "long" travel on bumps. Then you move the axle above the leafs on the same soft soupy leafs, and you have 2" or less of travel before bottoming out, and you think its gonna ride good?
There's a reason the aftermarket drop leaf springs are usually 10-20% stiffer (depending on brand)
There's also a reason why flip kits are so cheap, remember you get what you pay for
