Yeah, cold is normal there. One of my co-workers is from the UP of Michigan. He has good cold weather stories. My old man spent some time as a youth growing up in Guelph, Ontario. He has good stories about the cold winters too like playing hockey on frozen rivers, ponds, and lakes.

Yeah it is alot of fun here in the winter. Although I must admit that I like Texas quite a bit for the little time that I have spent there.

That sounds nice. My son lived in Austin for 2years, nice place to visit. Not sure if I would want to live there.

I kind of know what you mean. Austin is a great town to visit but I like the smaller cities around the area.

Definitely. Too much traffic and too many crazies in Austin.

My wife has family in in the Marble Falls area. Her Grandma grew up there.
