We've been getting drenched with rain for 36 hours. The sun is just now starting to peek through.

Never complain about the rain. We have got .07 since october of last year. Just read in the local news if we dont get a decent rain we will be out of water by november of this year. Our main lake is at 56 percent capacity and dropping everyday. the other 3 lakes are bone dry.

Dang man, that sounds rough. I actually love the rain, but three days straight will make anyone miss the sun. Especially since it filled my boat full of water

I really don't like the rain, but it's really bad when it ain't falling. We check on our old lake house every now and again and its boat ramp hasn't had any water in it for 4 years or so now, if not longer. The marina down the road was 2 feet away from having all the boats up on dry land as of summer 2013.

It's pretty bad . . . Central Texas/Hill country is definitely getting the worst of it. Well maybe El Paso and the panhandle aren't in great shape either, but I don't know.

Oh man y'all I just read from Brad aka Rockpick that Pam was murdered last night. I do not know the details but I am absolutely saddened by this and my prayers go out to all the family and friends. Such a great loss and she will be dearly missed.
