Bought an iPhone today for the first time. Never had one because I've always disliked them. I've had a droid for the last four years or so, but I was tired of all the glitches and lag, and ready for something different. Plus all the new droids are the size of laptops now. It's getting pretty ridiculous. I don't really want a phone bigger than my face. This one's going to take some getting used to though.

I was a Blackberry user. Finally forced to go with an iPhone 2 years ago and have learned to like it. It's also my internet hot spot.

Had a nice 5.3 shaker about 20 miles away, around 45 minutes ago.

I must be getting old or something because I was about to yell at the dog for rattling the sliding glass door! Wife said did you feel that, it was a good one, I said feel what! haha!

It's a good change People keep telling me the new android platform phones are much better than those of a few years ago, but I still disagree . . . Tech gurus can do infinitely more things with androids though.

Yeah it's growing on me. Ironically, I had no issues connecting the iPhone to Sync, but I had constant connectivity issues with the droid, especially when I first tried to link it. I didn't think an apple product would be more easily compatible with a Microsoft system than an android. As for the phone itself, I don't hate it.

Be sure to get a protective case. I've dropped mine a few times and the case saved it.

Good advice. This thing does seem a bit fragile. I had an Otter Box on my Droid, which saved that phone many times, but I'm considering the Lifeproof for this one though. The price is steep, but the waterproofing might be worth it with all the time I spend on the boat.

If you drop it in water, the seal on the plug in for the earphones dissolves. This way they know it's been in water. I learned the hard way. Sneaky bastids.

He looks for cheap women, so it should be a good fit.

The Lifeproofs are worth every cent if you're going to spend Otterbox money. My ex had one and would take pictures in the pool, shower (head only, not whole body stuff, so don't even think about it ), etc. and it was genuinely waterproof.

I have a little $10 Speck squishy case and going on 2 years without so much as a scratch on the entire phone. But I literally never drop or break phones, like ever.
