Let's start over......
Jim, yes the window regulators hold the window in position I would take it to the dealer because that shouldn't happen.
not exactly. As I understand it, the motor is attached to the regulator, or is a part of the regulator maybe is the way to say it. The regulator can break or the motor can go out. You can change motors on the regulator, at least that is how I looked at it. My question was, is there a stop of some kind that holds the window up or is it a problem with the motor itself that allows it to lose tension?

In the past week I've met two guys with torch red Terminators. It's funny, we have full blown convo's... I guessed one guys whole exhaust yesterday at Advanced Auto. He pulled in next to me and I couldn't resist shooting the **** with him. Showed me his whole car. Over 700 rwhp on E85. I'm getting good. Heard the thundering of LT's, figured catless and magnaflow. Bbk Lt's, catless x and magnapacks I love those cars so much. Part of me would love to just get an 03-04 GT and mod it up nice, swap the IRS and then ultimately swap in a 5.0 4v. Just got to keep learning to get to that point.
