Turbo's and black smoke mean power.. Something you V8 guys know nothing about
wtf....yer way out of tune if yer rolling black smoke on a turbo gas motor...imo
koolaid drinker...
Was looking on LET's website and a bone stock Eb with tune only dyno'd at 379hp 451tq..
Another Eb with DP's, I/C, intake, meth, fuel pump, E40 and LET tune dyno'd at 452HP 531TQ.
I think it may be time to put some parts on the ol Eb
as with any dyno numbers....look into and research them..imo
altitude, humidity, and temp can greatly influence the results

Nor would I, however there are tons and tons of posts all over the web about 5.4 3V's in trucks and SUVs making the noise mine was. Ford even said in a TSB to put in 10-40 to see if it goes away. That's too extreme to me, but after doing some researching and reading all sorts of people putting tons of mileage on the 5w-30, I'm not worried.
If you do a little more research it will reveal that early 1997 mod motors were equipped with 5w30 and Ford changed it later on to the current 5w20
I had a conversation with Derek the other day that all 3 of my trucks have been "mustang" powered trucks
