Well, sold my Mustang. A guy I've known for many years, fellow Ford guy. He told me years ago to call him if I ever wanted to sell. I called him, he said yes, he will pick it up Sunday.

Hard to do but it's time. I've known the guy for 30 years. We both lived in Abilene, did car shows, both ended up in Burleson. He has had Shelbeys fabricated street rods and has a fantastic set up. Currently has a 65 Fastback, 65 Coupe, and a 62 Vette. He gave my asking price which I lowered a little for him.

What were the details on your 'Stang? Were you at the stage where you had to stick some money into the thing and didn't want to do it?

Sad to see it go, but I guess you'll still be able to see it from time-to-time?

Usually the biggest issue with old cars is having the storage space to keep them (don't ask me how I know) but between your place in Burleson and the farm out in East Texas I would think you were sitting pretty good for storage room?

its needing a clutch and some other things. Just no longer have the interest and my body does not want to do that work any longer. It's also a lot of hassle to drive one of the older engines on today's fuel and oil. Especially a higher compression modified one. Plus, trying to get rid if some stuff for a move down to where our daughter lives.
