Yep, my wife cried, said it was like losing a child. Had it for 34 years. my daughter helped me set it up at car shows when she was about 10 years old.

I envy his shop. That is behind his home out at Keene.

That's a long time to keep a vehicle but many have done it. Any plans for the new truck other then getting use to the new features?

No, don't have any plans, just drive it. Nice thing about it, my bed mat and all the interior mats fit perfectly.

I have the Huskey liners too, they sure save the carpet.

I would probably put an exhaust on, but these 5.0s have a nice throaty sound already. Never put one on the 2011 and I think it being all original helped me on the trade in.

I didn't change the exhaust on my '11 either because the stock sounded pretty good. I did have a leveling kit and new tires when I traded mine in at the end of January but still got a little over 28K for it. Paid 35K when it was new right at 3 yrs earlier.

If you do exhaust, I highly suggest this exhaust. It sounds absolutely amazing. It's tame and mild, but does it have the perfect tone.

You could also do an OEM bolt in resonator delete pipe if you want a little more throaty sound.

Use it on pavement in a straight line.. if its on and you turn on dry pavement the rear end will skip around and rear tires will chatter. I use mine all the time to get better traction when taking off pretty hard, but you wont have that problem with the 5.0

The Elocker was a life saver a few times last winter with our ice storms.. The damn traction control flat out sucks on ice.. I turned everything off then turned on the e locker and the truck did great.
