Yes. And i will get the handle painted prior to installing it

Also found a kit on Amazon from Visson that includes a front camera on the mirror for dash cam purposes. Also has a larger screen in the mirror for back up camera. The kit was very generic and I wasn't wanting to turn this into a huge project.

Not bad. I think I prefer the in dash screen but not having used a rear view mirror display, that may not be the case. That is an excellent alternative.

I know. Just saying that if given a choice, I prefer the screen. On the other hand, if I could have fairly easily installed the aftermarket backup camera, the keyless entry and the auto headlights, I would have gone for the STX. Plus, the STX has the 20' wheels and bucket seats. I am so tired of all the chrome but it was easier to just live with it.

They also have recon mirror LED strip I've got my eye on too
Let us know how the install goes, although I'm sure it will be pretty straight forward. Wanting to see how things go with the kit for the dash screen before I decide which way I'm going.

I've got these from Stage3, cheaper than Recon, but have yet to install them.

You can take these apart so you can make the LED board black to make it less noticeable behind the lens, but its recommended that you take them apart anyway to seal them up with some clear silicone.

To go along with this, am I the only one whose been having issues using the quick reply? It takes forever for it to post when I hit submit and has results in a double post a couple times. It's been like this the past couple weeks.

Towing a golf cart or a Prius doesn't sound like a real big achievement to brag about.

The Ford backup lights are still ridiculous and I forgot to remove the LEDs 88 sent me for my 2011. Going to have to buy some. Made a huge difference.

No, you are not the only one and quoting someone takes forever.
