I'm quite fond of red myself. Miss my old Lariat all the time. Had the truck for 8 years, got it just before I first joined. But it's good to change up the color every now and then

Same here. Miss red from time to time in the summer, but usually forget about it when winter hits.

Well I put the truck back to the stock tune for a while and put my programmer up.. these cold mornings make it seem like it has a extra 100hp. I was cruising in town this morning and started to pass a car and hit the throttle about half way and it spun the tires in 3rd gear, about 5 seconds later flashing lights in the rearview.

Thank goodness i only got a warning and of course the wife had to drive by when i was sitting on the side of the road with the cop.. Got a call saying i should park the truck for a while and drive the cavalier

Maybe this is a good excuse to get the Mark VIII up and going.. The wife doesnt know the potential the old lincoln has

The theft light is flashing on the 2000 Expedition after turning the key off. Anyone know what would cause that?

Does the list turn off with key in ignition? Maybe some how you activated the alarm?

with doors locked, the theft light is blinking slowly and dimly.
stick key in, no change
turn key on, lights up brightly, solid lit
start engine, light goes off
kill engine, returns to dimly blinking.
get out, lock vehicle, still dimly blinking.

That's odd. This one has never done that. Started it yesterday.

My mom called me a few months ago and said there was some light flashing on her 99 cougar ( its drove about like your expy is has around 11k miles on it) Went the next day and it was the anti theft light.. I had to show her on the 93 explorer that it did the same thing and on dads 01 it does the same thing.

Maybe its one of those things you never notice?

The one on my 03 kr and dads 01 flashes about once every 2 seconds. just quick flashes.. I think its normal.

Ok, appreciate the replies. Just very hard to accept that it's been doing that for 14 years and just now seeing it. My wife is one of those people that noticed/seed everything. You can't slide anything past her. Hard to believe she just now saw it.
