The cruise on mine kept acting up throughout the week, so on Friday I took it in to the local Chevy dealer and had them take a look at it. Turns out the cruise module is the culprit, which is an item that is no longer available from GM. The local boneyard has one for around $40.00, but I've got a bid in on ebay for a NOS unit for around $150.00 -- I'd rather spend more for a new one than screw around with a well-worn box out of the scrap yard.

Thanks for posting that. I saw the story on TV news but they didn't go into all the details. Dogs can be amazing.

Heres one with 25k miles..

http://www.cargurus.com/Cars/l-Used-...sting=97742200

Mom had a 91 Cougar LX with the 5.0 in it.. Leather Interior and a turquoise color that would change to 3 or 4 different color depending how you looked at it.. Dad Traded it off in May of 99 and it had 16,000 miles.
