Bracing myself for two solid days with the wife's entire clan on Thursday and Friday......
To make things worse, the planned family outing on Friday is the Renaissance Festival, where you pay big money to hang out with same people you wouldn't have been caught dead with in high school......

Okay, decided to get up and do something. A few days back, my dealer told me I needed new brake pads and rotors. Decided to take a look for myself.
As I suspected, they look just fine. Plenty of pad left, and only minimal rotor grooving. However, I did notice this on one pad:
Thoughts Pat? Bad enough to replace? Or perhaps I can just sand it a bit. Again, no vibration or poor braking performance.

I might also be worth emailing the first pic to the service manager with your RO number and ask him why the tech lied about the condition of the brake pads. Just to see what the manager will say
