No kidding. They said I urgently needed brake pads and rotors because the pads were down to metal and cutting into the rotors. I think not.

Sanded the pad with fine grit paper and slapped it back on there.

Yep. Took it there for warranty work. Guess they were trying to make up the money.

Looks like 5 or 6 mm of pad left.

Pads are fine, just a larger metallic flake in the composition.

Jeez you'd better hurry up and get them replaced in another 40k-50k...

I might also be worth emailing the first pic to the service manager with your RO number and ask him why the tech lied about the condition of the brake pads. Just to see what the manager will say

Ben Franklin thought God allowing us to invent beer was a sign that he loved us. I think it was a sign that he knew there would be times when we would have to spend two solid days with family over the Holidays......
