You better go count spark plugs. You may have an EB instead of a 5.0.

No I don't need to count spark plugs, mine doesn't sound like a minivan when I give it gas

Also I didn't spend $2500 so I can save negligible amounts of gasoline

My son played his mother like a Stradivarius this morning and now I have an 8-year-old around the house with me all day......

Let's just say that the moment her tires hit the street backing out of the driveway he was "miraculously" well enough to get out of bed and go watch Sponge Bob Square Pants.....

I should've done the same thing. I doubt Sponge Bob would've been my choice of shows though.... maybe SVU or NCIS.

I did get to play hooky and come in two hours late but my excuse was being at the hospital for CT scan this morning. I would however like to go back home and go to bed after getting about an hour and a half of sleep last night.

Of course the lady that hit dad has some no name crap hole insurance company. They are doing nothing but giving him the run around. The police report clearly states the lady was at fault, plus she told me, my buddy, dad and the 2 cops that she just didn't see dad. Her insurance is saying the accident is 60 percent ladys fault and 40 percent dads because dad could have hit the brakes OR moved over to the other lane to avoid her.

Of course they have totaled out the explorer and is going to call dad and tell him what they are going to pay for the vehicle. Im sure they are going to lowball the crap out of him since they think he's 40percent to blame.

I took it today and got a estimate of 5400 to repair it. Im sure hes going to get it fixed

Was he only running liability insurance on the Explorer? If not, claim the balance on his personal coverage and I promise you they will fight the percentages if they think it's warranted. My experience has been that all the companies are basically in cahoots with one another, and there's very little negotiation to be had in these things.
